CommunityPHIND Investigator Dataset |
A table for community-level investigations is made available here as a service to promote faculty and student projects that further the science of community health and explore the determinants of health and well-being. Indicators assembled at the county level. (4 MB Excel spreadsheet)
Notes:
- The first sheet is a Table of Contents and each subsequent sheet contains a dataset.
- The common linking variable from sheet to sheet is the US Census Bureau FIPS code. http://www.census.gov/
- When possible, a published paper is provided in order to give the background data handling, calculations, or prior work involved in the indicator data assemblage.
- Some data are limited, for instance NATA estimates are only for the continental US. Quality of life information has been created for metropolitan areas.
